Today I read a book of Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, the founder of the Angel TV in India, titled Prayer Secrets in the Tabernacle.
In the Book of Exodus, God gave very precise instructions for the Israelite to build the Tabernacle. The main idea of the book is that through a special revelation the writer got from on high, he learnt about some secrets of prayer and the keys of walking intimately with God by studying the details of things in the tabernacle recorded in the Bible.
1. Altar of Offering – offering and confession of sin
2. Laver of Brass – praise and worship
3. Candlestick of Pure Gold (Menorah) – prayer in the spirit (praying in tongues)
4. Table of Shewbread – meditating the Word of God
5. Altar of Incense – intercession
6. Ark of Covenant – waiting upon God
I am going to restrengthen my prayer life according to the things I learn in the book. If I experience any breakthrough or see any vision or have any other spiritual experiences, I will let you guys know so you can be encouraged to pray also. Stay tuned.
